When you make a booking by phone we will email or post a booking confirmation to you. This is your receipt and proof of payment.
We accept cheques and Bankers' Automated Clearing Services (BACS) payments, made direct to our bank account.
Our operating licence requires us to start our registered bus tours at the advertised time. However, all Tours, Talks and Walks are subject to change or cancellation should unforeseen circumstances occur. In any case, there will be no tour, unless there is a minimum of six adult, senior, or, student, fare paying passengers, when we leave The Hard at 1400hrs.
Tickets once purchased are non refundable and non transferable. Tickets remain the property of Local Haunts and must be produced at any time during the journey and if required, delivered up when demanded by an authorised official of the company.
We reserve the right at our discretion to require a person to leave any Tour, Talk or Walk if we deem their conduct to be offensive or disruptive or to be causing annoyance to other passengers and we shall have no further liability for the carriage of such person.
All reasonable care has been taken to ensure that details, descriptions and prices of our Tours, Talks and Walks appearing on our website and in our leaflets are correct. However, we reserve the right to refuse bookings where incorrect information, including prices and descriptions, has been included in publications issued by third parties.
Prices are subject to change without notice.
For the enjoyment and safety of all our customers, we operate a strict no smoking policy, also, the consumption of food and drink on all our Tours, Talks and Walks is prohibited.
Dogs may be allowed, at the discretion of the driver or the tour guide. Or, with prior consent from the Director of Local Haunts.
Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
Because Alf is an ex-London Routemaster bus without a low platform and a hand "pole" at the edge of the platform, wheelchair access is somewhat restricted. However, if you are wheelchair-bound, please give us a call or talk to the driver or our tour guide on the day and we will make every effort to assist your access and accommodate you.
Please note that we accept no liability for indirect or consequential loss however caused. In addition, we accept no liability for direct loss, damage, delay or inconvenience, save in the case of death or personal injury caused by the company or its servants or agents.
